Global Innovation Gathering - GIG
Global Innovation Gathering (GIG) is a worldwide network of innovation hubs, makerspaces, hackerspaces, and grassroots tech communities. It champions open, inclusive, and sustainable innovation—especially from the Global South—by fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and community-driven solutions. GIG supports projects in areas like open health, citizen social science, and digital rights, and regularly convenes global events to spark dialogue and creativity.
Play a key leadership role as International Executive Director of the organization based in Berlin, guiding the network’s strategic direction, amplifying grassroots innovation, and connecting changemakers across disciplines and geographies, bringing a strong focus on sociopolitical inclusion and open-source collaboration to GIG’s mission
